Healthwatch Worcestershire looked at new model of support for adults with mental health issues, implemented by Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust (WHCT)

Our Report describes people’s experience of Going to the Dentist in Worcestershire. Looking in particular at how regularly people attend; understanding of treatment available on the NHS and charges; people’s experience at the dentist and their knowledge of complaints procedures.

Language and communication problems were the concerns most often raised by individuals from BAME communities. This Report uses information gathered from work carried out for HWW by Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire to assist us.

Healthwatch Worcestershire carried out Enter and View visit to 13 care and nursing home. The focus for the visits was to look at how residents in these settings are being provided with meaningful activities that support their health and well-being.

This Healthwatch Worcestershire “Spotlight On” Report, uses information we have gathered to highlight an issue or topic. We asked carers about what information and support has been provided to them and their experience of caring for someone in a mental health crisis situation.

Healthwatch Worcestershire undertook a “light touch” piece of work to find out more about the extent to which people had heard of the Care Act, and how they would find information about it. We also wanted to know about people’s use of and preference for online sources of information.
